DAARTT dormitories provide a sufficiently protected setting to make it culturally acceptable for female students, who do not have access to live in proximity of learning institutions, to take a higher education.

The standard DAARTT dormitory is a double load corridor building with hosting capacity for 76 (one floor) or 152 students (two floors). It is designed with study rooms, office/reception, pantries, janitor closets, linen storeroom, laundry space, bathrooms, water supply, toilets and sewage system, heating, ventilation and electrical systems. In addition, DAARTT will normally provide a kitchen dining room building, guardroom, boundary wall, sports facilities, road, parking space, pathways and landscaping.
