Jamshidi Boys High School
The school is located in the Jamshidi Village, in the Pashtun Kot District of Maymaneh. DAARTT is constructing a second floor on top of the existing 8 classroom school, built in 2006.
There are currently 982 boys in the school - excluding long term absentees. They receive education in two shifts. The school is insufficient for the 25 classes that have been established. Four classes therefore have to be held in open air during the first shift and six during the second. The second floor on top of the current school will eliminate the need for open air education.
